A Buttery Popcorn
- 3 oz. (approximately) Maker’s Mark, butter-washed bourbon
- 1 1⁄2 oz. Nixta (Nixta Licor de Elote Liqueur)*
- 3 dashes Scrappy’s Chocolate Bitters.
- 1⁄4 of a fresh squeezed orange
- Freshly popped corn for garnish.
In a shaker filled with ice, combine the butter-washed bourbon, Nixta, three dashes of Scrappy’s Chocolate Bitters, and freshed squeezed orange juice. Shake vigorously.
Prep a rocks glass by twisting an old peel over the glass and rubbing the inside with the peel then strain the mixutre in your shaker into the glass with one large ice cube. Garnish with some popcorn. Enjoy
*Nixta is a corn whiskey based liqueur, described as both slightly sweet and savory with notes of caramel and roasted corn.
