Partage – https://partage.vegas/
One of the main attractions of Las Vegas is the dining. And for most people this means a pilgrimage
to one of the many restaurants in the big hotels on the strip, attributed to
one of the equally numerous TV personality chefs. Some of which are actually pretty good.
Partage though is not one of these. It’s not even on the strip or in a
casino. Instead you’ll find it,in a strip mall in a
part of Las Vegas that has come to be known as Chinatown (yes Vegas now has a
Chinatown).
If, upon arriving, you wonder if you have the right place,
or if you’ve made a mistake, you wouldn’t be alone. We did.
Our Uber driver assured us this was the place though and
that was a common reaction, but also said he’d never heard even one compliant
about the experience, so in we went.
Walking in the door you will find yourself in what looks
like a wine cellar/store. Greeted by two
lovely young ladies at a desk, we were taken though into the dining room. The main dining room is not tiny, but smaller
than what I would have expected for a restaurant with the rising reputation
that partage has. Decorated in dark warm
tones, with understated elegance, it was a comfortable and intimate room,
dominated on side by their well equipped bar.
In the back is window to the kitchen, and there is also a smaller
private dining room for parties of about 20 or so max.
Described as modern French cuisine, the
menu is prix fixe with the option of five, seven, or nine courses, with or without
wine pairings.
We like to indulge and enjoy prix fixe dining, but have learned the hard way that much more than 5 is really too much for us, especially with a wine pairing, which we do.
