A bon vivant is someone who appreciates the finer things in life. They know how to live, and live well.
They are the life of the party. They know what wine goes with that dish. They can tell you exactly what clothes will work for you at that event, and even suggest a tailor. When you have a need, they have “a guy” who can take care of that. They tell the best stories.
Simply put Bon Vivant is an exploration of those themes; a collection of those stories from a community of people who lived them.
Have a question about yoga? We’ll tell you what we know. What to know what the best shoes are for a backpacking trip in Eastern Europe, we’ll tell you what worked best for us (and what didn’t) when we were there.
Bon Vivant is a community produced project whose goal is to provide that community with a resource for positive, engaging, and useful content. The stories published by Bon Vivant are the real stories and experiences of its member-creator community and are curated and vetted by topical experts to ensure accuracy and the highest of standards.
The concept of community is key to Bon Vivant.
Instead of thousands of individuals working alone like mad to produce enough content to sustain themselves while also having to deal with the technical issues of maintaining a website and navigating the cost and challenges of promoting that content, Bon Vivant provides the website, the structure, the plan, and the marketing.
By pooling the talents of our creators who collaborate instead of compete, Bon Vivant ensures a steady stream of high quality content, reduces costs, and increases the traffic and influence of our creators. Which in turn allows them to spend more time focusing on creating high quality content without being slave to the demand for quantity.
