The nominations have been announced and it’s time for the cinematic prognostications to begin. While some look forward to this time of year in anticipation of the Superbowl, for members of the entertainment community, its all about award season and there are none bigger, more glamorous, or more prestigious that the Academy Awards.
While in recent years there has been as much press about what didn’t get nominated as what did, and the backroom politics of the process, we’ll leave that argument the socio-political talking heads and sore losers, and instead focus on what we think will win and why.
